20th August 2008
Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Fludyers
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength:
Surf / Sea State: short chop
Air Temperature: 19
Sea Temperature: 18
Weather: sun and cloud
Max Speed: 21.8 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 12.9 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Mark called to say wind at the Fludyers so I went down early evening. Looked like 7m weather but dropped so rigged 8.5m which was Ok for a while but not comfortable as wind increased. Squiz also on the water and glided past me; those narrow boards are so much better in the chop and further out as the water flattened I could keep up. The short chop was uncomfortable to sail into but Ok riding back in. It was a very low tide and the rocks at Fludyers were hard to negotiate. Sailed for little over and hour.
